The soothing sounds of Bracklesham Bay will combine with delicious food, tasty tipples and cool musical vibes every Sunday night, 6pm to 8pm, at Billy’s on the Beach from June 23 to September.
Otis Redding’s Dock of the Bay may have been inspired by the San Francisco waterfront, but we can’t help but feel he’d have still penned the classic song at our beautiful location on the Sussex coast, if circumstances had been a little different.
Roots and blues trio, Smokestack, who have previously played on BBC Radio 2’s Blues Show, are the first to take to the Billy’s ‘stage’ this summer. Expect a chilled out evening of classic grooves in our intimate beach café.
These laid back evenings make the most of our spectacular sunsets, and we invite guests to book a table to enjoy some of the seasonal dishes on our fantastic menus and specials board.
While Billy’s on the Beach music nights are the perfect opportunity to wind down the weekend and prepare for the week ahead, we do have a number of Sussex tipples for you to enjoy alongside the entertainment too.
Love a gin and tonic? Well how about trying a Jarrold’s Gin, which is made at The Nodding Donkey Distillery in Chichester, or a Brilliant Gin, which is distilled at The Really Brilliant Company in Itchenor. It doesn’t get much local really, does it?
Alternatively, grab a beer from Arundel’s Goldmark brewery or a refreshing Silly Moo Cider from Trenchmore Farm in Cowfold. As always, a range of soft drinks will be available.
So, if you want to enjoy a summer of live music but are desperate to avoid the festival crowds, silly hats, mud and leaky tents, we’re offering you the perfect chilled out seaside escape every single weekend at Billy’s on the Beach. We hope you can join us!
Book your table early on 01243 670373 to avoid disappointment.
